If You Encounter Wildlife Danger:
  1. Stay calm - don’t run
  2. Follow your guide’s instructions exactly
  3. Back away slowly if alone
  4. Make yourself appear large (elephants)
  5. Do not make direct eye contact with predators
Safari Lodge Emergencies:

  • Radio communication to rangers
  • Medical kits on safari vehicles
  • Evacuation plans in place
Snakebite:
  1. Keep calm and immobilize the limb
  2. DO NOT try to suck out venom
  3. Get to medical facility immediately
  4. Try to identify/photograph snake if safe
